A desktop icon is a useful and quicker alternative when you want to manually start the program besides launching from the Windows Start menu.  For more information, see Start and Exit the Program. You can also create a desktop icon manually after the installation. All you need is to drag-and-drop the MajorAV icon from the Start menu to the desktop.
